On April 23, 2016, Friends of the San Garbriels, with the help of your generous donations, sponsored our first cleanup day for both trash and graffiti at Hermit Falls in Big Santa Anita Canyon. Twenty seven people joined us in the effort. We used 55 cans of rock-colored spray paint, 5 gallons of coverup paint and removed 200 pounds of trash.
Our second Hermit Falls cleanup day will be October 15, 2016. These date are chosen as the beginning and ending of the major traffic graffiti periods.
- Join us for a cleanup morning at Adams’ Pack Station, 7:30 am.
- Drinks, snacks and supplies will be provided at Hermit Falls.
- Friends of the San Gabriels will treat you to a great lunch at Adams’ Pack Station.
No RSVP is necessary, just show up ready to work. If you have trouble finding parking, tell the folks at Adams’ Pack Station that you are there for the cleanup event and they will find you a space.Tags: Cleanup, Graffiti, Hermit Falls
